Locally Owned Veterinary Care in Chilliwack

Family Pet Hospital is a full-service veterinary clinic for dogs and cats located at Unit 3, 7319 Vedder Road, Chilliwack, BC. We serve Sardis, Vedder Crossing, Promontory, Garrison Crossing, and Cultus Lake, providing wellness exams, vaccinations, dental care, surgery, diagnostics, and same-day urgent care. Family Pet Hospital is open Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM and Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

We have cared for Chilliwack pets from the same Vedder Road location since 2006, and the veterinarians who own the practice still work the floor every week. A large doctor and support team lets us keep evening, weekend, and most statutory holiday hours without rushing appointments, and same-day urgent care is available every day the clinic is open. We bill Trupanion directly, accept all major insurers, and offer iFinance payment plans, so care decisions start with your pet, not the invoice. Accepting new clients.

When it is time, we help you say goodbye gently. Family Pet Hospital offers unhurried end-of-life appointments in a quiet clinic room, and our veterinarians also make house calls so your pet can pass peacefully at home, surrounded by family. We guide you through every decision, including aftercare and communal cremation, at your pace.

Insurance, Direct Billing, and Payment Plans

Veterinary care should not wait on paperwork. We bill Trupanion directly in most cases, so you pay only your portion at checkout, and we work with Fetch, Pets Plus Us, and Petsecure claims. Payment plans are available through iFinance, and we accept cash, debit, Visa, Mastercard, Amex, and Interac e-Transfer.

Call us first: (604) 824-0005. Our team triages urgent dog and cat cases as they arrive, 7 days a week, with weekday hours until 10 PM. Please call ahead so we can prepare for your arrival, but do not let a call stop you if your pet is in distress during our open hours.

We also welcome pet owners from Cultus Lake and Lindell Beach on their way up the Vedder corridor. Parking is free at our Unit 3, 7319 Vedder Road location, and evening hours mean you can come after work without taking time off.

Dr. Grewal has practised in British Columbia since 2003 and co-founded Family Pet Hospital in 2006. He leads a large clinical team built around one idea: pet owners should understand every treatment plan before it starts.

Co-owner and Veterinarian

Dr. Singh has practised in British Columbia since 2004 and co-owns Family Pet Hospital. Together with Dr. Grewal he keeps the clinic staffed for evening, weekend, and holiday appointments that fit real family schedules.
